I had lots of yummy food while visiting my family in the US and this is the last set of photos from the trip. Before I left I had Rainbow Cookies. They are not only nice to look at but delicious also! Their taste is a mixture of almonds, chocolate, and cookie/cake. Unfortunately I have never seen them in Japan.
I read this very strange story on Newsday.com:
Police that were called to a Long Island man's house due to a broken water pipe discovered the mummified
remains of the resident. He had been dead for more than a year sitting in front of
a TV that was still turned on when police arrived. Officials could not explain why the
electricity had not been turned off considering Ricardo had not been
heard from since December 2005 and probably was not paying the electric bill.

When I was visiting my family in the States recently we went out to a restaurant named Legal Seafood one night. I had a yummy Lobster roll. Here are some photos from the dinner.
I gave a short demo of the new Nokia N93i for my brother's Tech Class at South Woods Middle School. Tech Class is where students learn how to use craft tools such as saws, drills, screwdrivers, etc. to make things out of wood with their own hands and learn some computer tech also. I let the students try out the N93i so that they could get a feel for it hands on. These are the videos and photos that they took. I think some of them are suprisingly good resulting in some creative videos of themselves and their friends. Some were documentary style, some were introducing themselves and their friends, while some filmed action or scare tactics. What video is your favorite?
Cousin's Pizza is my second favourite Pizza restaurant. Cousins is located in Syosset, NY nearby the Syosset, LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) trainstation. I like Cousin's pizza crust better than Mario's pizza crust but overall Mario's pizza has better sauce, cheese, dough, and chicken rolls that is why Cousin's is second and Mario's is first. Anyway my younger brother and I went to Cousin's for lunch when I was visiting in the States. Pizza is sold by the slice or by the pie and there are 8 slices of pizza per pie. I ordered a slice of pizza and a chicken roll. It was delicous. =)
While visiting my family in the US we went out to Kikku's for Dinner one night. Kikku of Empire is a Chinese restaurant that also makes Japanese food. When I lived in the US they were one my favourite restaurants to get Chicken Lo Mein from. However after having lived in Japan for over 2 years I found the Lo Mein to not be that special and the sashimi that I ordered was served in a strange way. It wasn't bad but it wasn't a great dinner like it use to be.
While I was in the States visiting my family I went to watch Children of Men with my dad. While there I got a medium popcorn and medium Cherry Coke. But since I have been living in Japan for the last 2 years I was suprised to see the size of the mediums I received. They were the size of extra larges! So large that I wasn't even able to finish them by the end of the movie.
