Reiter's Camera Phone Report has some great interview video coverage from the US CTIA. Reiter used a Nokia N82 to record an interesting conversation about WiMAX and LTE, and another conversation that he captured on video was Rafe from All About Symbian asking questions about Share on Ovi. Check out the videos below.
Lenovo's U8 IdeaPad is an interesting concept device that combines: touchscreen internet tablet, phone, office productivity, entertainment, imaging, messaging, etc. But the keypad layout seems a bit awkward to me.

This is why it's important for us to learn ways to re-use and recycle old electronic gadgets.
Nvidia demoed their new mobile graphics processor, named the Nvidia APX 2500, in a prototype device at MWC in Spain. It looks cool and demonstrates what is possible when graphics chips are embedded in mobile devices. Too bad it seems to only work with windoze mobile currently.

Great blog post describing the difficulties for users accessing mobile websites and some suggestions to help developers make a better mobile site!
MTube might be the world's smallest PC, but with a touch screen as small as that I don't see it as being very usable except for maybe watching videos and showing photos to friends.

I just listened to TWiT 123 and heard the news of a man in the UK that was fired for taking sick leave via SMS. The man brought his former company to court for inappropriate firing and won the amount of salary he lost due to the firing. This is very interesting to me since in my company most of the time people use SMS or E-mail to call in sick.
The policy for my job is you can send an SMS to the team leader and/or manager to let them know you're going to be out and they reply to the message to acknowledge they received it and it's ok. If you send an SMS but you don't receive a reply then you can either call them or send another SMS to a different team leader or manager and wait for their reply. Basically just have to confirm that they received your message and that they don't have any important questions about your daily responsibilities that can't wait a day while you're out. So I found it very strange when I heard the news of that man in the UK being fired for this. Then again I work for Nokia, that of course makes mobile devices so that might be one of the reasons that the policy is allowed. To me it's easier to send an SMS to take sick leave than to call and speak to somebody on the phone when I'm not feeling well.
Now this has caught my interest, do you think SMS is a way of communication that should be permitted to take the day off as long as you ensure the message was received? Do any other companies completely frown upon the use of SMS or E-mail to call in sick or is it the other way around that most companies accept the use of SMS or E-mail to take sick leave?
The hat that makes video mobile.
